Lia Calcines Rodriguez '21

Lia, one of our basses and a Senior majoring in Neuroscience, was born and raised in Cuba where she attended the Music Conservatory to study violin. She then moved to London and later to Los Angeles, and through the years and the many changes, she always had music as a constant in her life. Ever since she joined Vocal Point she has been a resonant bass, and sometimes an alto or soloist, and has brought joy and quirkiness into the group.
