Hannah ott '23 (she/her)

Hannah is a Senior from Big Flats, NY, and is so happy that she is able to actively make music with so many talented women on campus! She is pursuing degrees in Political Science and Philosophy, with a Writing Studies minor, and she is on the Pre-Law track. Outside of Vocal Point, Hannah is a Writing Fellow, a Residential Advisor, and a Meridian. Over the summer, she worked as a university tour guide in the Office of Admissions, and was a cast member of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Blackfriars Theatre in Rochester. Hannah started loving music in kindergarten when she began learning piano, and continued through the years as she began musical theatre, choir, and vocal performance.
Abby Johnson '23 (She/Her)

Abby is a Senior from Deep River, Connecticut. She is double majoring in Creative Writing and Psychology with a minor in Music. On campus, she is a Writing Fellow, a researcher in the URMC Psychiatry Department, and a member of Chamber Singers. In her spare time, Abby writes music using her proficiency in piano, ukulele, and bass guitar, as well as her producing knowledge. You can find her original music under “abby and the ghost” on a every music platform! Currently, Abby uses her expertise as our music director, and we could not be more grateful for her and all her talent.
Katherine Broun, '23 (SHe /Her)

Katherine is a Senior from Wallingford, CT. She is majoring in biomedical engineering with a concentration in medical optics and a minor in optics. Whether practicing new vocal percussion sounds while working on a problem set, singing in her car as a detox, or playing her guitar or ukulele, music has always been a constant in Katie's life. In addition to her musical passions, Katie is a Research Assistant at the medical center, a Teaching Assistant for the biomedical engineering department, and is also a Writing Fellow on campus. Additionally, Katie is also a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, the undergraduate BME society, and Tau Beta Pi Engineering Society. In the bit of remaining free time she has, you can find Katie relaxing with friends or reading a good book
Nandita ammanamanchi '24 (She/Her)

Nandita is a Junior from Princeton, NJ. She is pursuing a major in Health, Behavior and Society with minors in Legal Studies, Clinical Psychology and Statistics. Music has always been a big part of her life, from being trained in Indian Classical singing to traveling with choirs. Back home, she works at a toy store. On campus, Nandita is also involved with GlobeMed and works at the Medical Center. In her free time, Nandita loves to journal, watch copious amounts of TV and cook!
Alyssa Koh '24 (She /They)
Music Director

Alyssa is a Junior from Albany, New York. They are double majoring in Computational Linguistics and English with a minor in ASL and Music Cognition. As our AMD, you can find her hunched over an upcoming arrangement or practicing vocal percussion. Outside of Vocal Point, she edits for the Campus Times, or works with SAA and the Orientation department. In their spare time, they use their creative skills to video edit, cook and even longboard.

Rocio is a Junior from Carolina, Puerto Rico. She is pursuing a double major in Political Science and Gender, Sexuality, and Women Studies. Aside from singing, Rocio loves fashion, travel, scuba diving and playing soccer. On campus, Rocio is also involved with organizations such as The Pride Network, PRSO, and Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. A fun fact about them is that they never properly learned who to tie their shoes.

Julia is a Junior from Afton, Minnesota. She is pursuing a double major in Economics and Environmental Studies, along with a minor in Spanish. Aside from singing, Julia loves baking, hiking, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family! On campus, Julia is a part of Grassroots, The Finance and Economics Society, Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and D'lions. A fun fact about her is that she makes a mean carrot cake !

Isabelle is a Junior, from Shanghai, China. She is pursuing a Mathematics and Digital Media Studies double major and a Psychology minor. Singing is one of Isabelle's biggest passions and it definitely shows in and out of rehearsal. Her best friend is an adorable British Shorthair kitten named Migo. We are so lucky to have her!

Ashnaa is a Sophomore from Acton, Massachusetts. She is majoring in Brain and Cognitive Sciences and plans on minoring in music. Ashnaa loves to play the violin, listen to music, watch movies, and just sit around and talk with her friends. Claire is a Freshman from Mentor, Ohio! She is pursuing a Molecular Genetics and Statistics double major. When she’s not amazing us with her powerful soprano belt, she spends her time reading, collecting records, cds and vinyls, watching movies, making origami, or eating junk food. Claire's secret talent is solving a Rubik’s cube in two and a half minutes. We are so grateful to have her in VP this year!
