Jane HUFFER, '19
Jane is a junior who hails from right here in beautiful Rochester! Jane is serving as our General Manager this year and is a Music Education major, and plays violin, trumpet, and piano, in addition to singing. (She plays four instruments!) Jane says she cannot remember a time when music was not part of her life, and In addition to being in Vocal Point (Jane primarily sings “tippy-top” soprano in the group), she loves musical theatre and most recently portrayed Natalie in ROC Players’s production of “Next to Normal.” She is also a Starbucks barista and an RA! In addition to other perfectly reasonable foods, Jane hates bananas, and currently holds the title of “VP’s Pickiest Eater.” Jane’s spirit animal is a giraffe because she is so lanky, and if she were a flower, she would be a sunflower, likely for the same reason, as well as for her bright and bubbly personality!

aSSISTANT MUSICAL DIRECTOR
Liz hails from Buffalo, NY and is a double major in Linguistics and Business with a minor in Spanish. When Liz got into the group, we had three Elizabeths, so we gave her the nickname Proprietary, or Props for short. We’re not really sure how autocorrect got that from Priore either. On campus, Liz recently performed in the Vagina Monologues, is a sister of Alpha Phi, a Linguistics TA, and is Orientation Leader for the class of 2021! With an average trip rate of three times a day, Liz enjoys the times she can stay in one place by hanging out with friends at Starbucks and arranging for the group.

Mojin, our Public Relations chair, hails from Beijing, China. Mojin is double majoring in Digital Media Studies and Psychology, is very artistic, and loves to paint and work on designs on her computer. When Mojin auditioned for our group, she got her note from her trusty tuning fork, and we knew we had to have her. Besides singing with Vocal Point, Mojin is a member of No Jackets Required and is excited to be an International Student Mentor for some of the class of 2021's freshmen! Mojin is our designated “large-city-navigator” (New York and Chicago so far), and can ATTACK any size bowl of noodles you put in front of her. Mojin misses her beloved cat, Three, but is excited for her next two years with Vocal Point!

Aside from Vocal Point, Bailey is a member of College Feminists, does research at the Med Center, and is a sister in Chi Omega. LilO BLANK, '20
Our smallest (although her personality makes up for it) member, Lilo, hails proudly from Elkins Park, PA and is serving as our Fundraising and Alumni Relations Chair this year. After we heard her mentioned at Convocation for being on The Voice, we were so excited to see her at auditions! Lilo is not actually named after the animated Disney character and does not have a pet *blue koala?*, and has funnily enough, never seen Lilo and Stitch! Lilo is a Public Health Major with a double minor in BCS and Women’s and Gender Studies, and when she’s not singing with Vocal Point, you can find her adamantly working on crushing the patriarchy, hanging out with her sisters in Gamma Phi Beta, or assisting in her research position for the WISH Program at the Medical Center.

mADELEINE VOGEL, '22
Madeleine, hailing from Charlton, NY (20 minutes from the Saratoga race track!), comes to U of R not only as a VERY excited freshman member of Vocal Point, but also as a sprinter on the varsity track and field team. Currently studying audio and music engineering and looking towards a career in sound engineering and performance technology, Madeleine loves nights in with cocoa and her two beloved cats almost as much as she loves midnight runs and movie marathons with friends. Her spirit fruit is a honeycrisp apple, her favorite Bruce Springsteen song is (yeah, you guessed it) “Born to Run”, and when she isn’t performing with Vocal Point, practicing piano or working out you can catch her behind the scenes of campus events as a member of ECM or taking naps on her super comfy rug!
